Today we went on a tagalong tour to do some fossicking for Garnets.

Out of the over 100 we found only about 15 are any good. Once you return back to the caravan park they go through them with you to see which ones are any good. You can get some jewellery made if you like but it is quite expensive to get jewellery made there.

I don’t think the garnets are worth much, especially before they have been cut.

We were tired and dirty by the time we got back to the caravan park, it was hard work.
