Friday 4th July

Today Hank from the caravan park took us all to King Ash Bay to Batton Point Creek to do some fishing. He supplied all the fishing rods and bait for us.
The fishing was done at the banks of the river; you can’t swim in the river as it is full of crocodiles.
David and Jesse went out in the boat for about two hours to the mouth of the Macarthur River where they saw lots of crocodiles along the banks of the river.
He took them to see these Asian Huts along the banks. It is hard to imagine that people even live in them.
We girls then went for a ride in the boat to look at the crocodiles. You see them laying on the bank of the river, once you get close they go into the water.
Emily’s fishing rod was the one that caught both the fish, we cooked it up for dinner that night.
