27th February

I haven't taken or posted many photos after we left Coffs Harbour.

Once we decided we were coming home to Werribee, we just wanted to get home.

We had such a wonderful time travelling around Australia. We have made so many memories as a family that we will cherish for ever.

David and I loved the bonding we got to do with Jesse and Emily and I hope that one day Jesse and Emily will both look back on this blog and remember all the wonderful times we had.

So that is it for us now.

We made this blog for our families to read whilst we were travelling so we hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.

We are on are way home now and have stopped at Coffs Harbour, we will stay here for a few days.

6th February 2009

We left Kirra Beach today and arrived at Brisbane.

We will stay here for a while and David will do some bricklaying whilst we are here.

Wayne and Viv come to see us in Brisbane whilst we were staying here.
It was nice to see them as it had been a long time since we had.

We are not really enjoying Brisbane. David has a bit of work and  I am getting quite homesick now as whilst he is at work I have no car to go anywhere and it is getting hard home schooling the kids.  This caravan park is okay but we are not really enjoying it as much as Kirra Beach.

We have decided now that we are going to come home to Melbourne.  We will start to make our way home.

January 21st – February 6th

It was Jesse’s birthday on the 21st January, we went to the movies and then to the pancake parlour. His friend that he has met here in the caravan park since we arrived also came with us.
We got him some golf clubs for his birthday. He is starting to play golf with David..

The night of Jesse's birthday
We have really enjoyed out stay here at Kirra Beach, it has been very relaxing.

We were going to make out way up the Sunshine coast and then to Bundaberg for work but there is no work available.

David has found a job bricklaying so we will be leaving here on Friday 6th February. We will be staying at a caravan park closer to Brisbane.

They held mini olympics in the caravan park.

Our retired friends, Joy and Bruce that we have met on our trip are also in Queensland. They came to visit us today. It was really nice to see them again.

My mum, dad and my niece Cassie arrived here on the 3rd January. They are staying here for two weeks.

I was really happy to see them all as I have not seen any of my family since we left home.

Mum and Dad are staying at mum’s cousins house and Cassie is staying here with us for two weeks. We went out to mum’s cousin’s Patsy’s house a few times. They have a really nice house at the bottom of Mount Tambourine.

We did all the theme parks again when Cassie arrived. Cassie is like Jesse and she will go on any ride. She is having a really good time going to all the parks with us. Emily is really enjoying having her big cousin here with her.

It was raining when we first got there.

Our friend Marc, Fiona and the kids arrived in Queensland so we went to Movie World with them. Jesse stayed with them for two nights. He had a really good time as we have not seen Kyle and Jaxson for about 12 months.

Two weeks passed by very quickly, it was sad saying goodbye to mum, dad and Cass. Emily was also very sad that Cassie was leaving. She loved having her big cousin here.
