We left Alice Springs this morning and drove to Gem Tree. Gem Tree is a native bush campsite situated about 140km from Alice Springs.
You can have open fires at night time. They have fire pits located centrally between a few sites so you can mingle with other campers.
Gem Tree is run by generators and they turn them off every night at 10.30pm and back on again at 6.30am. Once they turn them off it is very dark.
